Proline Molecule - 3D

Proline is an a-amino acid whose codons are CCU, CCC, CCA, and CCG. It is not an essential amino acid, which means that humans can synthesize it. It is unique among the 20 protein-forming amino acids because the a-amino group is secondary haviing two organic substituents bound to N together with one H.
